Welcome to my new little slice of the internet, hi I’m Ella, artist, Canary keeper, Gardener and cook, I have been blogging since 2007 over at ellamasters.co.uk but its been in recent years that I had found myself falling out of love with what I was writing and blogging, after the death of my mother and brother I decided to focused my attention on my small business developing award winning home ware, a daily drawing project which lead to solo exhibition and collaborations. When I am not doing my day job which is illustrating for companies like, Anthropologie and Armani, I am working hard on my evening job which is illustrating and writing thousands of postcards to cheer people up around the world at positive post company I was recently nominated for the independent awards 2020 will holly.co for passion and purpose.
alittlehome.co.uk sprung up as just a little dream of mine whilst in conversation with my boyfriend, we purchased our first home in the midst of a global pandemic, after personally living for years in an unsafe and unhappy situation I then found myself moving into a rather devoid of character but excitingly spacious with potential semi detached house in the North west of England as a born and bred Londoner it did come as a slight shock to have to readjust to a new life when we are unable to socialise with anyone else, my little home has become my sanctuary. I hope you can follow along with me as I turn this house into a home.
I have a wide experience in Antique shopping, D.I.Y and I have a love for all things colourful so here we are, a little home is a place for me to share my love for antique shopping, my joy of drawing, home cooking and interior design!
